My name is Angela Dickens and I’m a freelance media developer/geek. I started developing for the web from a young age, teaching myself html and css when I was 14. At the age of 15 I was gifted a copy of Macromedia Flash and began making cartoons. I discovered a great passion for learning how to create web based media, whether it be a new way to animate an object or a different way of styling a web page. Unable to pursue this passion at school, immediately afterwards I applied for an appropriate university course. I graduated from Bournemouth University with a 2:1 degree in Ba(hons) Interactive Media Production this year. Since completing the course I’ve engaged in a variety of freelance work as well as doing iPhone development and marketing for a local Bournemouth company.

In my leisure time I pursue an interest in gaming. I partake in a fort-nightly gaming podcast called 7 Bit Arcade as well as writing for their blog. I like to review and play games in my spare time and gaming is always my favourite topic of conversation.

This site holds the purpose of displaying my previous work as example to those looking for a freelancer and also pursuing my passion for gaming in a more productive way than just staring at a screen.
